Michael Harrington Obituary
Born in New Haven, he was the son of the late Paul and Dolores (Scudamore) Harrington.
Michael lived in Cromwell since 1957 and was a member of St. John Church in Cromwell. He worked as a HVAC Technician at Aetna and had an overwhelming passion for golf. Michael was an excellent handyman and would do anything for anyone and will truly be missed by all.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey M. Harrington and his daughter, Michelle L. Harrington, both of Cromwell; two brothers, Grant W. Westerson and his wife, Joanne of Old Saybrook and Paul A. Harrington and his wife, Linda of Chester; two sisters, Georgia Harrington and her fiancé, Bud Kuehne of Clinton and Donna Gilbert and her husband, David of Chester; his mother-in-law, Nellie Nyren of Cromwell; a sister-in-law Donna Franklin and her husband, Tom of Cromwell; several nieces; a nephew and a special grand dog, Enzo.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 10, at 10 a.m. at St. John Church, 5 St. John Court, Cromwell, and interment will follow in West Cemetery in Cromwell.
Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main St., Cromwell, and in lieu of flowers, may make donations in Michael's memory to Weiss Hospice Unit, Middlesex Hospital c/o Department of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457.

Cheryl,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I had no idea, but only put it all together tonight with all the trafic on our quiet little street. Even though we never knew each other very well, I could tell he was a great guy with a great heart. He helped me out many times and I appreciated it so much. Your in my thoughts, if you ever need anything, please let me know.

To Cheryl and family,
I can say that Grog will be missed by all, mostly by his friends and family but also by those who never got the chance to meet Mike and receive his assistance in any project that you had to finish. He truly loved his golf and i know that he will be looking forward to playing some rounds in Heaven. Our prayers are with you all.

Cheryl, Jeff & Michelle and the family,
Mike was a good friend too all of us who worked with him.
He always made us chuckle. His warm personality was felt whenever he was around.
He was a true master of the trades. I remember when he built his deck.
We saw pictures from start to finish. 973 screws it took.
He could not walk past a plactic pipe without playing a song through it. That was just Mike.
I could ask anyone that knew Mike to name five friends, Mike would be on all our lists.
He was the Knight that went NEET, but most of all a good friend.
