Olga Scionti Obituary
In her passing, she leaves three children, Richard (Bruce) Scionti, of Los Angeles, Susan Scionti, of Higganum, and Cheryl (Scionti) Turro and husband, Jeff, of Middletown. She also leaves behind her loving companion of 17 years, Edward Dlugolenski, (Mr. D), of Cromwell. Olga has two grandchildren, Jeffrey and Talia Turro. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and kept her going through her many illnesses over the years. Olga also leaves behind her youngest brother, Bartolo Rocco Jr., of Providence, R.I., two sister-in-laws and several nieces and nephews.
Olga was well known for her quick wit and sense of humor. Olga loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed bowling, working on crossword puzzles, reading, traveling and the casino.
Family and friends are invited to D'Angelo Funeral Home, 22 South Main St, Middletown on Sunday, Nov. 13 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.. The funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 14 at 10 a.m. at St. Sebastian's Church, 155 Washington St, Middletown. Burial will be held at St. Sebastian's Cemetary following the service.
Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005 and the Susan G. Komen Foundation for the Cure, 5005 LBJ Freeway Suite 250, Dallas, TX 75244.

To Olga's Family and my Uncle Ed,
So sorry to hear of Olga's passing. Spent time with her and my Aunt Mary on trips to the Casino. Talked about lots of memories. She was a very interesting woman whom I'm sure will be missed by all. I'm out of state and cannot attend the services. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Lord, I know my mother still loves us who are still here on earth. I ask you that you might listen to her prayers for us. Help me to grow into a new and deeper relationship with my mother now, as I long for the day when we will both meet in your embrace - freed from all that might have hindered our relationship on earth, knowing and understanding everything we did not know or understand on this.

We were very saddened to learn of our cousin Olga's passing, especially since it has been so long since we have visited.
