Robert "Bob" Maron

Robert "Bob" Maron, 83, of Boynton Beach, Florida, formerly a life-long resident of Middletown passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2013 surrounded by his family and friends. Bob was the owner of Concord Steel Corporation in Middletown, CT for over forty years. He was very active in the Adath Israel Synagogue, serving on the Board for many years, as well as one of the founders of the Interfaith Golf Tournament now held every summer.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth (Robinson) Maron, of 56 years, and their three daughters and son-in-law, Ellen and Dr. Henry Gross, of Norwalk, CT, Jill Maron, of Acton, MA and Nanci Maron, of Middletown, CT. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, Hannah, Adam, Mackenzie, Marni, and Cooper.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 4th at 2:30pm in Adath Israel Cemetery, 714 Pine Street, Middletown with Rabbi Seth Haaz officiating.
