To Pam, and family-
I'm so sad to learn this news. The things your dad did... nothing stopped him, so this is quite unbelievable. It's been so many years since I saw him, but I'll never forget those twinkling eyes and sly smile. He was one in a million, as you know. Sending love to all of you.

My deepest condolences to the LaBella family. I have very fond memories of ‘Uncle’ Sal from childhood. He and Ginny have been so important to my mom. I will miss his cooking online.

LaBella Family,
Our hearts have no sound to beat but that of sorrow for the loss of Sal. We are beyond sad for his passing and, that a pandemic wedged itself between us as neighbors over the last 2 years. That being said, we are so thankful for the few months we had beforehand to get to know Sal, his quick wit, fierce desire for independence and all around character - what a guy. Sal will be missed dearly.
Please, let us know if there is anything we can do for Ginny and the entire LaBella family.
Love,
The Shaughnessy-Baranov Family

Dear Lisa, Pam and Kris, My deepest sympathy for the loss of your Dad.
I'm sorry I can't be there to support you girls, I'm in quarantine. Your father and my sister Marie Ann and I lived two steps away from Aunt Angie's, loving called Auntie's, apartment. We were very close to your Dad and had a lot of laughs growing up. My sister and I watched his You Tube show and the first thing I said was that was Sal. He had that twinkle in eye and was comical at the same time. When you lived in Haddam, he was also very close to my husband Ronnie. They did many side jobs together and had a ton of laughs. Always talk about him and savor all your memories. Rest in peace my dear cousin Sal and make some of those beautiful dishes for Auntie and Uncle Joe. I love you.
