Gus was a close friend of my late brother, Michael, and many of my cousins all the way through St. Mary's and even after going to different high schools--when they worked at the animal hospital, he and my brother would tell me some stories that where not true because they knew I was a cat lover--always joking and Smiling--Michael is there waiting for you ,Gus, to continue having fun like you did back in the "good old days"

Thank you Gus! Thank you for your dedication to CYO basketball and the kids that played it! I was young, but really enjoyed and remember our trips to New Hampshire for the New England tournaments because you coached us to get there! Gus taught me that it if you hit the top corner square on a backboard the ball will go in. Thank you for the fundamentals! Thank you for helping me with science projects when I was in 8th grade and didn't have a clue. Thank you for taking me to your family lake house in Portland to help you work on it and bringing me to Farrell's for my first time. We lost a great man! Thank you Gus!

We were so sad to hear that Gus had passed away. He was an incredible man. My mom and aunts knew him from Hartford Ball Bearing and always spoke so highly of him. He was my daughter's basketball coach at St. Mary's and he had the patience of a saint, especially with my daughter's team. Such great laughs and great times at the games. Rest in Peace Gus, your memory will live on.
