My deepest sympathy to all of Teds family on the passing of Ted, my heart goes out to all of you. Ted called me Long John because I lived on Long Island and my wife and I would drive up to visit him, and he would visit us when he wasn't traveling around the country, and we had lots of fun times together. Ted was a wonderful person and at times he was bigger than life, I can't believe he passed away, it's heartbreaking.....

I had the opportunity to work with Ted after his stroke as a physical therapy student and treated him for many years after graduating at ProEx Physical Therapy. This man shaped my career and taught me to remain positive through thick and thin. Regardless of how he felt that day, he was always laughing and always singing his favorite TV Land Jingle, Green Acres and The Mr. Ed were some of his favorites. He was always a hard worker but on day's he didn't feel up to it, we would stretch while I played random episodes of the Three Stooges on my computer so he could watch while we worked. He was a bright spot in my day 2-3 times a week, I can only hope I was a bright spot in his.

Ted and I shared many special moments-Some good and some not so good. I vacationed with him in New Orleans only to return home to learn of his father's sudden passing. That evening I remained the night with Ted while he talked about his father. Ted was sick in New Orleans so at the time he was not feeling well at all. Aside from not feeling well Ted was always a happy guy and tried to make me feel better for things I was going through at the time. On several occasions I went with Ted while he played the spoons-and he was really good! I really liked Ted-I wish in later years we had remained close because my life changed a lot-relocating to Florida. May he rest in peace. Peter

My sincere sympathy to Ted's family. I met Ted in the early 1990s and have so many fun memories. And a lot of laughs with his practical jokes. He regularly attended the Minnesota Sate Fair and would stay at my house when he did. Ted's way of living is a good reminder for everyone. And he was a prime example of how to be good to one another. This picture was taken during one of Ted's other trips to Minnesota. This one was Memorial Day weekend 1996. Until we meet again Ted, enjoy the journey.

Prayers and condolences to Ted's family and friends. Have not seen 'Teddy' since our days many moons past at Farm Hill (best ever!) and Woodrow Wilson Junior High where Ted's friendship and our hijinks in home room were always a blast. Many fond memories. May his spirit soar!

To Ted's family and friends,
I knew Ted from church and mostly after he had the stroke. He always smiled and was so happy when I spoke with him. He was a trooper.
My sincere condolences

I send my heartfelt sympathies to Ted's family and friends. I worked with him many moons ago at 460 Silver Street and loved hearing his stories and adventures. May you find comfort in all your memories and stories Ted left to remember him by.

I met Ted in the mid 70's as I was tending bar at the Corner Tap on New Britain Avenue in Hartford. I will always remember him walking in sometimes donning his cowboy hat and quick with a joke...Bob Steele, Three Stooges, and many more noted funny people were quoted in his constant repertoire. May he be numbered among the Saints in Heaven, where he will keep them laughing in eternity. My sincere condolences to his family.....Godspeed.

I t was so great to see Ted at our 50th Class Reunion and it meant a lot to the class that he got to see old friends. Even though he couldn't talk, his eyes and his smile spoke volumes!
This is our CLASS of 1969 WWSHS WILDCATS. Ted is in the first row on the left.
