ALLEN KOSATKA Obituary

ALLEN KOSATKA Allen Kosatka, 76, of Ovilla, Texas, was born on March 23, 1947 in Pueblo, Colorado. Allen, a Vietnam Airforce Veteran who fearlessly soared through the skies, took his final flight on August 2, 2023. With profound sadness, we celebrate the legacy of a man who truly lived life to the fullest. Allen's zest for life was infectious. His sense of humor was legendary, and he could brighten even the gloomiest of days with a well-timed joke or a mischievous grin. His laughter was a symphony that resonated with all who had the pleasure of knowing him. With an engineering mind that soared as high as the planes he loved, Allen was a true marvel. He could dismantle, reconstruct, and innovate with the precision of a master craftsman. But above all else, Allen cherished his family. His family held a special place in his heart, and he would move mountains to ensure their happiness and well-being. His love knew no bounds, and he leaves behind a family that is forever enriched by his presence in their lives. Allen is survived by his loving wife, Melody, his daughters Kimberly and Ashley, his daughter-in-law Alayna, his grandson Jude, and his granddaughter Jovie. He is also survived by his brothers Michael and wife Ann, Scott and wife Cheryl, Paul and wife Phyllis, and Mark; niece Ellan and nephew Nicholas. Allen was preceded in death by his mother Kay, father Ray, and brother David. A private ceremony will be held to honor Allen's life. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a veterans' charity of your choice in his memory. Let us cherish the moments we shared with him and strive to live life as vibrantly and passionately as he did. Farewell, Allen, and may you find eternal peace in the skies you loved so dearly. Your spirit will forever soar in the hearts of those you touched.

Melody, Kimberly, and Ashley,

Our deepest sympathies for your loss. The last 30 thirty years have past so quickly and yet our sadness for the loss of Allen seems like only yesterday. I'm sorry we haven't kept in touch through the years, but the fondness of memories and Allen's kindness and joy endures. I hope this late date doesn't cause any sadness, just brings him and his memories together for us all.

Love to all,
Tom and Sharon Walter, Magnolia, TX

Melody, Kimberly and Ashley,
We were so sorry to hear of Allen's passing. Ann would always tell us about how he was doing. Ann talks about your family all the time to me and she loves you all dearly. The obituary is beautifully written. Take care of yourselves.

Fondly,
Ann's sister and brother-in -law,
Martha and Doug Williams
