Mary Anderson Obituary
Mary L Anderson, age 89, of Crystal River, FL passed away on December 24, 2020 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. Mary was born on May 3, 1931 to Clarence and Sylvia (McKinney) Kennedy in Urbana, IL. Mary was a retired Factory Worker and moved to Citrus County 23 years ago from Homestead, FL. Mary really enjoyed spending time with family and having picnics with all the kids at the park and playing games especially bingo.
Mary is survived by seven children, Floyd (Lisa) Grubb of Sandwich, IL, Wilma (Keith) List of Rochelle, IL, Kevin Anderson of Crystal River, FL, Darrell Anderson of Homestead, FL, Yvonne (Edward) Connery of Crystal River, FL, Lavonne (Jeff) Peeler of Homestead, FL, Roger (Tina) Anderson of Wausaukee, WI; 28 grandchildren, several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Anderson and daughters, Rena Fulbright, Pat Pfiefer, Terry Tibbetts, Donna Grubb and Debbie Anderson; siblings, Rufus (Bud) Kennedy, Irene Kunkle and Anne Lane.
Cremation will take under the direction of Brown Funeral Home and Crematory in Lecanto, FL.
A Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at Anderson Funeral Home in DeKalb.
Interment of cremated remains will be held Saturday July 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Fairview Park Cemetery, in DeKalb, Illinois.
