Michelle L. Vidor

Michelle L. Vidor (McNichols), 30 of Dekalb Il. died July 19, 2021, after a year-long battle with Leukemia. Michelle was raised in Park Forest Il. by her parents Kevin and Patty. She married Jesse Vidor in November of 2018.
During her Park Forest years she made many lasting friendships. She loved softball and played with the Park district, travel teams and her high school team.
Michelle graduated from Marian Catholic High School and attended NIU and Kishwaukee College. She enjoyed her restaurant family and her regular customers at the Junction in Dekalb where she worked for many years.
Michelle and Jesse had a beautiful home which Michelle loved to decorate and work in her flower and vegetable gardens. She also loved her 2 dogs and cat, her pickup truck, cooking, crafts and country music.
Survivors include her husband, parents, brother Steven (Vida Lozano), nephew Donovan and niece Madilyn. Along with many cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Tom and Evelyn McNichols and John and Kathleen Markiewicz (Marks).
Family was very important to Michelle and she made sure she attended all family functions. She especially loved her family's annual trip to Shawano, WI.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 18th, from 1:00-3:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home, 1405 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore Il.
We will always remember Michelle for her beautiful smile, her strength, and a heart that was courageous, compassionate, feisty and full of Love.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be made to the Vidor family in care of Butala Funeral Home, to help with medical bills.
