Nancy Q. Culver 74, of DeKalb passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 29, 1947, in Charleston, IL and was the daughter of Otho J. and Helen L. (Padgett) Quick.
Nancy graduated from DeKalb High School in 1965 and married Randy G. Culver on July, 28, 1973 at St. Mary Catholic Church in DeKalb.
Nancy worked at DeKalb Bank, National City Bank, and PNC as a long time bank teller and then she moved on to be the secretary for Christ the Teacher University Parish for 17 plus years.
Nancy was a member of Christ the Teacher University Parish. She enjoyed reading murder mysteries and watching murder mystery shows along with General Hospital and all sporting events. She loved spending time with her grandson Damien and watching his sporting events.
Survivors include; husband Randy G. Culver of DeKalb, daughters; Nicole (Caleb) Guest of Phoenix, AZ, Michelle (Damien Cavazos) of DeKalb, grandson Damien Cavazos of DeKalb and brother David Quick of Elgin, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister-in-law Susan Quick.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at 2:00pm at Christ the Teacher University Parish with Father Kyle Manno officiating. Burial will be immediately following the service at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in DeKalb. Visitation will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Finch Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society
