Chrystal Young-Jessen Obituary
Chrystal dedicated many years to educating young minds as a teacher, a career that reflected her nurturing spirit and commitment to growth and learning. She was a voracious reader, an enthusiast of country music, and enjoyed solving crosswords. Her happiest moments were spent visiting with family and watching NBA games with her sister.
She leaves behind a loving family, including her sisters, Karen Rath and Donna Randall; granddaughters, Codi(Ernie) Bear Don't Walk and Royale Weaselboy; great-grandsons, Elijah and Noah Martinez, Taylor Bear Don't Walk, Tishaun Jackson, and Macklynn Two Moons; nephews, Virgil (Lavonne) and Dustin Randall; nieces, Robin (Kaylee) Rath, Tracey (Gary) Bement, Talana (Mike) Sutherland, Tiffany (Richard) Lamont, and Trinity Randall; and great-nephew, Robert (Frankie) Rath. Chrystal was a cherished figure to many who considered her both a grandma and a friend. She was preceded in death by her mother, Cornelia; husband, Henry; daughter, Cindy; great-grandson, Michael; sister, Floydine; and brothers-in-law, Bob, Wayne, and Virgil; as well as nephews, Philip and Russell.
A celebration of life will be held on April 19, 2025, at 3:00 PM at The Heritage Living Center in Ashland, Montana. Interment will follow at a later date. Chrystal's legacy of love, laughter, and learning will forever resonate with those she touched.

Auntie Chris was always good to me. I have fond memories of visiting her and Uncle Henry in Busby during the years they lived there while I was growing up. She always laughed easily and had great stories to share! She will be missed very much.
