Carlo Pezzuolo

Carlo J. Pezzuolo 85, of Franklin, died peacefully, Sunday September 15, 2013 at the Medway Country Manor following an illness. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth M. Betty (Aleo) Pezzuolo. Born in Boston, on April 25, 1928, a son of the late Carlo and Assunta Pezzuolo he was a former resident of Jamaica Plain and Dorchester before moving to Franklin in 1959. Carlo was raised and educated in Boston, and was a retired sales representative for Subaru of New England. He was a member of the United States Navy Reserve during the World War 11. In his younger years, he was a semipro hockey player and played for the American Hockey Association. He was a former coach and referee for the Franklin Youth Hockey Association, a former usher at St. Marys Church, Franklin, and enjoyed traveling to Cape Cod and Las Vegas. Carlo treasured time spent with his family and friends. In addition to his wife of 59 years, he is survived by his children; Carleen M. Pezzuolo of Venus, Texas, Richard C.D. Pezzuolo of Wilmington, North Carolina, Robert A. Pezzuolo of Cumberland, Maine, Mary E. Clark of Mendon, Joanne C. Pezzuolo of Franklin, and Christine S. Pezzuolo of Las Vegas, Nevada. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Anthony and Joseph Pezzuolo, Theresa Paduano, Susan Anziano, and Mary Zubel. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Thursday Sept. 19th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. Franklin, with a funeral Mass at St. Marys Church 1 Church Sq. Franklin at 10AM. Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.
