A year has gone by and certainly no one expected that we would be isolated for such a long time. I am so sorry that I can't see Doris in person. She and Gordon came into my life for a reason. I will always be grateful to Wendy for inviting me to Rotary, and making that day so special. Semper Fi, Millie

Dear Doris and Family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in your loss of Gordon. Although we had a brief encounter at lunch, it was obvious to me that he was a gentleman in the finest sense of the word. We were looking forward to sharing Quincy Rotary's celebration of Veterans' Day and Pear Harbor Day at Quincy High School. It was not to be, but I hope to be at his Memorial Service to honor his life at that time.
Semper Fi,
Mildred Cox
