John Sannicandro Obituary

John A. Sannicandro, Jr., 91, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Metro West Medical Center Leonard Morse Campus in Natick. He was the husband of the late Ruth (Stanley) Sannicandro who died in 2001. He was born in Milford, son of the late John Sannicandro Sr. and Josephine (Vendetti) Sannicandro and was a lifelong Milford resident. He was educated in the Milford Schools. Mr. Sannicandro retired in 1981 from the Foster Forbes Company in Milford where he was employed as an assembler. He was a communicant of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Mr. Sannicandro is survived by two sons John A. Sannicandro III of Northborough, Joseph Sannicandro of Naples Fl, three daughters Maryellen Walker of Hyannis, Gloria Racine of Bellingham, Diane Papelian of Clinton , sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Joan Lees and a brother Silvio Sannicandro. The funeral will be held Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 8 A.M. from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home 46 Water St. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 A.M. in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church 7 East Main St. The burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
