John was one of my favorite proposal managers to edit for at EDS/HP. He always had a fun story to tell and great affection for his wife and children. I'll never forget the time he got burned by his rocket motorcycle because he liked wearing shorts when he rode. If I had a template or technology problem, I knew who to ask. So smart, so nice. I'm greatly saddened by his loss. Left us all way too soon.

He was the father of our children. We raised a remarkable family. He was a loving father and husband. My heart goes out to all others in his other family and may find peace. We held a memorial lunch to honor and celebrate his life. He would have liked that because we celebrated his humor. He was a good man who will be missed by all who knew him.

To John's family I share the words that helped me think of the good times. Grief is love with nowhere to go. Rest in peace, John. You were a person who saw the light in darkness and helped others laugh when they needed to.

My thoughts and prayers go out to John´s family. John is at peace and the first of us siblings to join our parents. He went to soon and will be missed by all who knew him and all who never had the opportunity. His wit and humor were his qualities that stood out. And sometimes he was full of wit, and that´s why he ill miss him.
