Dennis Arnold Pinz

1941 - 2025

Dennis Pinz was born July 30, 1941 to Arnold and Grace Pinz in Isle, MN. He graduated from Isle High School and joined the Navy where he was on the Roosevelt Aircraft Carrier. After serving he returned to Isle to work with his family (brothers Leslie & Paul, sister Gretchen) at Pinz Sand & Gravel. He married Liz Miller and had two daughters, Denise (Jay) and Lisa (Mitch). Dennis and Liz retired in 1995 experiencing Texas, Florida, northern MN, Nevada and returning to MN in 2021. Dennis raced snowmobiles, hunted in central MN, fished the lakes and oceans, drove razors in the mountains, and loved spending time with his granddaughters, Bailey (Caleb) and Adison (Andrew), and one great granddaughter, Penelope.

He will be remembered for loving his family and friends and his infectious laugh. His body was donated to the U of MN Anatomy Bequest Program.
