Wilbur Dalrymple Obituary
He was born on Dec. 8, 1947 in Fort Madison, to Jay E. and Bernice V. Sharp Dalrymple. He retired from the U.S. Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was a member of the West Point American Legion and enjoyed working on the farm with his cattle and horses.
Wilbur is survived by a son, Randy Dalrymple of Minnesota; a grandson, and a sister, Mary Alice Woods of Fort Madison. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Howard Dalrymple and two sisters: Esther Drollinger and Velda Mae Fritzjunker.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory and no services are planned. Burial will be held at a later date in Keokuk National Cemetery. Online condolences to the Dalrymple family may be left at the King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory website: www.kinglynk.com.
