David Arlow Farmin
Victor, MT - David Arlow Farmin, born on January 7, 1945, in Oakland, CA, died of natural causes at his home in Victor, MT, on November 12, 2022.
As a child, David attended a Lutheran school in the San Francisco Bay Area and Lower Lake High School in Lower Lake, CA. David enlisted in the United States Marie Corps on April, 1962, and served honorably until April, 1967. After leaving the Corps, he attended college for two years and pursued other career opportunities until he apprenticed in IBEW Local 595 where he became a journeyman electrician specializing in industrial installations.
David met his wife, Pat, many years before he started dating her in 1997. True to his sense of humor, he married her on April 1, 1998. They resided in Lower Lake until March 2006 when the couple moved to Victor, MT. He enjoyed being a "BitterRooter" until his passing.
David was a life member of the American Legion; member of the Hamilton American Legion Honor Guard; Past Commander of American Legion Post 437, Clearlake, CA; member of the "40&8"; 38-year member of the Elks; member of the Eagles; 50-year member of IBEW 595, and a life member of the Aeolian Yacht Club in Alameda, CA.
David's parents, John and Leila Farmin, predeceased him. He was deeply loved and is sorely missed by his wife, Pat, and his extended family.
Services will be conducted at the Western Montana State Veterans Cemetery in Missoula, MT, on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 2:00 pm, followed by a celebration of his life at a place to be determined. Condolences and memories may be shared with the family at www.whitesittfuneralhome.com.
