James Lynn "Jim" Everard, Sr.
Jesus welcomed James Lynn "Jim" Everard, Sr. of Billings, MT into His presence on August 22, 2021.
Jim was born in Hettinger, ND to Wilfred and Arline Everard, reared in Missoula, after his family moved during the Great Depression. He is a graduate of the University of Montana (1959), an Army Veteran of the Korean War (53 - 55). He was also a faithful follower of Jesus and attended Christian Life Center as a child to adult.
After graduating with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, Jim went to work for Husky Oil, Cody, WY (1959 - 1984). Beginning as an Accountant, he later transitioned to the position of Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst. He continued with Flying J after their purchase of Husky Oil, until 1988. Years later, Jim retired in 1999 from the City of Everett, in Washington.
Jim is survived by his wife, Carolyn of Billings; his former wife (of 25 years), Pat of Spokane, WA; their children: Bryan (Cheryl) of Spokane; Terry (Alison) of Sundance, WY; Lynn (Leslee) of Missoula; Scott (Sherri) of Hamilton; and Janice (Chad) Clark of Spokane; four granddaughters, six grandsons; and seven great-granddaughters.
Celebration of his life will be held on his 89th birthday, November 10, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Parkhill Church, 1707 Parkhill Dr. in Billings, 59102.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkhill Church, or Glacier Bible Camp (for the purchase of a new computer) c/o: MT Ministry Network, 2147 Overland Ave, Suite 100, Billings, MT 59102.
