Jane Ophus Obituary
She was born on January 2, 1945, in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Edwin and Alice (Navratil) Kalash. On June 11, 1972, she was united in marriage to David Ophus in Calidonia, MN. She worked as a registered nurse in Missoula, MT.
Jane is survived by her husband, David of Cedar Falls; daughter, Becky (Frank Orellana) Ophus of Billings, MT; son, John (Sheri) Ophus of Waterloo; grandson, Oliver Ophus; sibling, Kenneth Kalash of Las Alamos, NM, and step-siblings Patty (Bob) Obma and Bob (Mary) Ustby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her step-mother, Olive, and Roger Utsby, half-brother.
Memorials may be directed to John Ophus at 4009 Sager, Waterloo, IA, 50701 to establish a nursing scholarship in Jane's name at the University of Northern Iowa. Online condolences at www.richardsonfuneralservice.com.

Fond memories of Pastor Dave and Jane hosting me in their Missoula home, while I was attending UM, for a lovely summer dinner, followed by attendance at the July 4th music concert in the park. Son John and our daughter Brooke had been classmates at Choteau Grade School. Rest in Peace
