Jim Davenport, 65, of Missoula, MT, passed away at home on Thursday morning November 18, 2021. In January he was diagnosed with a malignant sarcoma tumor in his right arm, but it was a pulmonary embolism which was suddenly took his life.

He was an amazing husband, father, businessman, and athlete. Jim and Shari were married 35 years and were best friends. They loved hanging out with their kids and entertaining guests. They enjoyed traveling, golfing, hiking and especially pickleball. Jim was always such a kind and selfless person.

A Celebration of Life will be at Christian Life Center, 3801 South Russell, Missoula, on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Coffee & sweets will be served. Everyone is welcome to attend.

So sorry to hear about Jim! I really enjoyed golfing with him on our league team and visiting with him. He was always kind and friendly to others around him. We will all surely miss him much.

Shari and family, Sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. I enjoyed playing Friday night pickleball with him. He was fun to be around. The pb court will be a bit dimmer without him. My most sincere condolences to you and your family.

So sorry for the loss of Jim. I played golf with him. He always wore a smile and was fun to be around. We will all miss him very much.
