Larry Sheumaker

Charlo - Larry Sheumaker, 75, of Charlo, passed away on Sunday, July 11, 2021. He was born in Malta, Montana and grew up in the Charlo and Pablo areas. He served in the US Airforce and after his military service worked at Plum Creek in Pablo until his retirement. A love of fishing, hunting, and the outdoors kept him traveling and happy.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Leah; parents William Earl and Ella Sheumaker; and his brothers Benjamin and Willis.

He is survived by his children, Greg Sheumaker (Patty) of Charlo, Michael Sheumaker of Pablo, Jay Sheumaker of Polson, Val Hertz (Chris) of Charlo; stepchildren Val Frisk (Tom) of Charlo, Jeff Ogden (Kim) of Leavenworth KS, Ken Ogden of Olympia WA; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; and his sister Dorris Moody (Chuck) of Depoe Bay OR, brother Jim Sheumaker (Charlotte) of Ronan.
