Layla Michelle Hallgren
Layla Michelle Hallgren, four months and seventeen days old, gained her wings too suddenly on Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
Layla was born 9:31 am on July 5, 2022, the much-anticipated daughter of Zack and Brooke Hallgren. She weighed in at 7 pounds and 2 ounces and measured 20 inches long. While Layla certainly loved her mommy she could be described as "daddy's girl", she lit up when Zack entered the room. Layla was hitting all her milestones, she loved to eat, sometimes aggressively and a favorite pastime was swinging and watching whatever was on the television. Her smile was beautiful, and she had recently found her voice; she was chatty and loved telling all those in earshot a story. Layla adored her mother, and they were inseparable. Layla was truly the light of her family's lives and she will be missed greatly.
Left to cherish her memory are her doting parents Brooke and Zack; cherished grandparents: Steve Hallgren, Michelle and Jeff Cyr, and Erik and Nancy Bratlien; aunts and uncles: Nick and Melissa, Dusty and Maygen, Kris and Brittany, Rhi Hallgren, Ashley Scott, great grandparents; numerous cousins.
Private services to honor Layla will be held.
Arrangements are under the direction of Garden City Funeral Home and Crematory, Missoula, Montana.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Her picture and story popped up on my screen. I think God wanted me to reassure you that she is in His care now and one day you will have a joyous reunion. She will be watching over you from the throne of God. I

Dear Zach and Brooke,
I never got to meet your precious Layla, but I had heard she was absolutely the happiest baby and the picture you have shared here just melts one's heart! No words could possibly bring you comfort at this time. Just know I and so many others share in the sorrow we know you are suffering over the loss of your precious, precious daughter. I send my prayer to you and all your family, that God will somehow bring you comfort and peace during this most difficult time.
Thinking of you and sending Love and hugs,
Dorothy Erickson
