Judith Lynn "Judi" Mueller

Judith Mueller, 76, of Sioux Falls, SD, passed away Friday, October 17, 2025, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 22, at First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in rural Dimock, SD. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Judith "Judi" Lynn (Storla) Mueller was born November 12, 1948, to Orin and Phyllis Jeanne (Parker) Storla at Methodist Hospital in Mitchell, SD. Judi graduated from Mt. Vernon Public High School. In February 1970, Judi married Ronald H. Mueller at First Lutheran Church in Mitchell, SD. Judi attended one semester at SDSU in Brookings, SD, some classes at Northeast Technical College in Norfolk, NE, SD, and Area Vo Tech in Mitchell, SD She graduated from Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell as a non-traditional student. Judi's employment in Mitchell included: Truck Haven Café, NW Bell Telephone Company, Mentele Agency, Feinstein's Clothing, Abbott House, Dairy Queen, and St. Joseph Hospital (now Avera Queen of Peace). After moving to Sioux Falls, SD, Judi was employed by Sioux Valley Hospital, which is now Sanford Medical Center and First Lutheran Church. Judi was a member of First Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls, SD. She repeats a quote from the obituary of another: "God blessed me in a marriage with a gift I could not have chosen for myself." Judi is survived by her husband, Ron; son, Richard, and sister, Karen O'Donnell of Greyslake, Illinois. Judi was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Elaine Keech.
