Tanya A. Allen-Langford of Atlantic City, N.J., departed this life peacefully on Saturday, October 18, 2025, in her home.

Born on July 2, 1961, in Atlantic City, N.J., Tanya was the beloved daughter of the late Henry Allen Sr. and Beatrice Dabney-Allen. A lifelong resident of Atlantic City, she graduated from Atlantic City High School.

Tanya danced for many years with Chloe Price, a passion that brought her joy and connection. She dedicated over 25 years of service to the Atlantic City casino industry, working at Harrah's and Tropicana, where she was known for her infectious spirit.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Allen Sr. and Beatrice Dabney-Allen; her sister, Carla Allen-Charles; her brother, Darryl Allen; her maternal grandmother Ethel (Nana) Tunstall and special aunt Mildred Allen who raised her.

Tanya leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Jerome Langford; her children, Al, Jerae, and Jordan; her grandchildren, Anaiyah, Aria, Jamel, and Ace; her brother, Charles Allen (Beth); her mother-in-law, Vashti Langford; her brothers-in-law, Anthony Langford and Lorenzo Langford (Nynell); her sister-in-law, Cheryl Banks (Wilbur); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. She is also lovingly remembered by her special friends, Trevis Parker, Yolanda Doster, and John Wilson along with many more dear friends.

In her spare time, Tanya enjoyed cooking (her famous seafood salad was a community favorite) and spending time with loved ones.

She was an active member of the Senior Zumba dance class, where she continued to share her love of movement and fellowship when health permitted.

Tanya was a faithful member of New Hope Baptist Church, where she served on the Missionary Board and contributed her culinary talents to church events until health restricted her. When able, she also loved to travel, joining church trips and excursions with the City of Atlantic City.

Her life was a testament to grace, resilience, and love. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Friday, October 24, 2025, Union Baptist Temple, Pennsylvania & Drexel Avenues, Atlantic City, N.J., where friends may call from 9:30 a.m.

Interment to follow at Atlantic City Cemetery, Pleasantville, N.J.
