Connie Lee Boroski 1945-2024

Connie Lee Boroski, 79 of Tooele, Utah, passed away in Holladay (Salt Lake City) on September 13, 2024. Connie was born the second of three children born to Leon and Colleen (Thomas) Marsing on August 25, 1945 in Price, Utah. Johnnie Leon was the oldest child of that Union. Tragedy hit the family when Johnnie died in a drowning accident on June 22, 1953. Connie's family was living at White Canyon at the time.

Connie's parents divorced before their third child, Bonnita (Bunny) was born. Her mother married George Anderson and half-brother, Gary and half-sister, Mardrene Robinson were born. Her father married Ruth Johnson, and half-brothers, Richard and Randy and half-sister, Sheryl were added to this complex family.

Connie married Byron Wade Tangreen in Moab on August 30,1963. To that union was born Brenda, Michael, Kim and Jeramiah. Connie loved her children above all else. She and Wade divorced in 1979 after 17 years together while they mostly raised their children.

On June 6, 1981, she married Tom Boroski in Moab. They divorced in 1984.

Connie then pursed a career in accounting by attending Utah State University Eastern in Price and graduated with her degree which nailed her a job that she loved at the IRS in Ogden. She and her son, Jeramiah lived there in Farmington for several years until her retirement.

Connie enjoyed family get-togethers, road trips, camping, horses and dachshund dogs as pets. She always longed for returning home to the red rocks of Moab.

She cherished her Family History records which she researched when there weren't computers. Yep, she did it old school with many hand-written pages. Connie loved being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many callings when she was a young wife and mother. She rejoiced when receiving her endowments in the Manti Temple.

Connie is survived by her children, Brenda (Jerry) Martineau of Summit, Michael of Carlin, NV, and Jeramiah (Shannan) of Tooele; 11 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers Johnnie and Randy; grandson Marcus Martineau and daughter Kim and son-in-law Joey Mitchell.

A graveside service will be held at Grand Valley Cemetery in Moab on September 21, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.

A special thanks to those wonderful people who took care of her the last year of her life. We can't thank you enough for your kindness, care and selfless love shown to our mother.
