John William "Johnny" Patterson

1959 ~ 2025

John William "Johnny" Patterson passed away, at age 65, on March 4, 2025, in Grand Junction, Colorado, after an extended battle with cancer.

Johnny was the third of seven children born to Tom and Marianne Patterson on November 27, 1959, in Moab, Utah, where he grew up and attended school. He worked on drill rigs for a while after high school and then he moved to Nevada where he started operating heavy equipment. He was very good at running all the equipment, but his favorite was the Track Hoe.

He is survived by his mother Marianne of Ridgecrest, son Corey of San Francisco, daughter Kacey of Moab, son Kade of Dallas, siblings George (Darla) of Moab, Kathy of Ridgecrest, Betsy (Ernie) of Clifton, Michael (Lisa) of Anchorage, Sue of Kingman and Tom of DR, granddaughter Skyler, nieces and nephews Drew, Cassie, Tiffany, Kristen, Patrick, Stephanie and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his son George and father Tom.

Services will be held on April 7, 2025, at 11:00 am at Spanish Valley Mortuary.
