Carolyn Lucille Frankel
Carolyn Lucille Frankel, of Surprise AZ, died September 15, 2021 at her home. She valiantly battled cancer for nearly 30 years. Mrs. Frankel was born July 7, 1943 to Charles Leonard and Carolyn Lucille Goodloe in Mobile, AL. She graduated from Murphy High School in Mobile AL in 1963 and continued studies at the University of South Alabama and Mt Hood Community College in Gresham, OR. Known as Lynn, she enjoyed a long career in banking before moving to the Pacific Northwest to enter into private business in the Mt Hood Oregon area. Here, she met her beloved husband John Frankel and enjoyed many years of travel on the water of South Florida and the Caribbean sailing on their 39 ft Cal sailboat named Babe, their true passion that molded their lives forever. She is survived by her husband John Frankel, her son Chris Welch, her brother Charles L Goodloe Jr. and spouse Karen, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Frankel will be interred in Twin Falls Idaho, the home of her son Chris.
