Psalms 147:3 – He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. Born Feb. 22, 1963 in Mobile, AL., lost his battle with COVID on Sept. 7, 2021 in Mobile, AL, at the age of 58. Cliff and his partner Terry Barker owned and operated Depono Salon located at 2401 Old Shell Rd. Prior to the salon being called Depono, it was Attitudes & Co. Cliff attended Chickasaw Academy and graduated from Vigor High School in 1982. Cliff loved people and people loved Cliff. He always had a big grin and an infectious laugh that will forevermore be missed. Cliff, along with his partner Terry and their friend Guy Strong built a beautiful greenhouse and garden as Cliff was a passionate and successful gardener. We are at peace knowing that Cliff is tending the most beautiful gardens Heaven has to offer. Cliff was preceded in death by his parents: Henry C. (Cliff) and Priscilla (Polly) Porter, his sister, Anna Porter Perkins, his nephew, Michael Perkins and his mother-in-law, Linda Barker. He is survived by his partner and soul mate, Terry L. Barker, his sister, Priscilla Porter (Bob) Moody, his sister, Linda Porter (Tony) Breeden, his sister, Toni Porter Reeves Sanderson, his father-in-law, Phillip Barker, his brother-in-law, Steven Barker, his sister-in-law, Anita Barker and a special friend, Guy Strong. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Our hearts are forever broken. He was taken way too soon. We will see you in the morning. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home, 1200 Industrial Pkwy., Saraland, AL on Sunday, September 26, 2021 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
