Leonard Constantine (Bunny) Wyatt, Sr. Age 88. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather transitioned from his earthly home on Sept. 19, 2021. Leonard was born in Mobile, AL. Leonard lived most of his life in Mobile, AL. He spent several of his teen years in Philadelphia and graduated from Northeast Public in Philadelphia. After serving in the United States Army, Leonard returned to Mobile and joined his mother at Little Realty as salesman and broker. Toward the end of his career, Leonard enjoyed doing appraisals. Leonard was active in the community. He served as Industrial Development board member, ASMS Public Education Building Authority, and Water and Sewer Board of Commissioners and Solid Waste Authority. Leonard was the first African American to serve as Commissioner of the Alabama Real Estate Commission. Leonard held membership in the Mobile Area Association of Realtors where he was recognized as "Realtor Emeritus" for over forty years of service. Leonard was also a member of the Comrades Social Club. He attended Friendship Baptist Church where he worked with the Laymen's Ministry, the ACTS Sunday School Class, and the male chorus. Leonard also attended Vacation Bible School for many years. He loved his church and when the opportunity presented itself, he served as a pro-bono church realtor. Leonard was preceded in death by his son Leonard Wyatt Jr., his mother Augustine Little and his brother William A. Wyatt. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife of 65 years Grace Yelling Wyatt; daughters: Rene Wyatt (Paul) Harris, Grace Wyatt Reese; grandchildren: Angel Harris, Paul Harris Jr., Lillianne Harris (Byron) Wright, Leonard Wyatt III, William Charles Wyatt, Chelsea Wyatt, Latoya Whitfield, Crystal Whitfield, and Angel Reese; seven great grandchildren; two brothers: Clyde (Effie) Wyatt and Bernard R. Little; daughters-in law: Jacqueline Vines Wyatt and Cheryl Finney Wyatt. Leonard leaves a host of cousins, other relatives and friends who are greatly saddened by his loss. He will lie in state on Tue. Sept. 28, 2021 from 4pm to 8pm at Small's Mortuary-Mobile. A Celebration of Life will take place on Wed. Sept. 29, 2021 at Small's Mortuary Chapel at 12 noon. He will be laid to rest in Pinecrest Cemetery. Dignified and Professional services have been entrusted to Small's Mortuary, 950 S. Broad St., Mobile, AL 36603
