Bill James Fithian 95 of Rogers passed away January 5, 2019 in Rogers surrounded by his family. He was born February 13, 1923 in Joplin, Missouri the son of Harold and Dovie Rhines Fithian. Bill was a locomotive Engineer for Western Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church and served in the United States Army Air Corp. He is preceded in death by his wife June Helen Fithian and one son Ricky Fithian.
He is survived by his children Robin Hinkley and husband Doug of Rogers and Dana McCoy and husband Kenny Mac of Rogers; his brother Harold Fithian of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandchildren Dana Abbott and husband Roger, Susan Satterlee and husband Scott, Rick Sauls and wife Misty, Brian Sauls, Lacey Sauls, Karie Sexson and husband Mike, Kristin Aguilar and husband Rolondo and Kenny McCoy II; twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th, Rogers. Interment with military honors will follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Jude's and Shriners.

I've known Bill since around 1967. His daughter Dana is my best friend. Bill was a wonderful man,and provided for his family in many ways. Great husband,father,grandfather, and great grandfather. He was always kind and giving. I never heard him raise his voice. He had the greatest laugh. I loved him,and will miss the smell of pipe tobacco when I entered his home. Rest In Peace Bill,you will be sadly missed !
