Thank you all that attended Bruce's services. He would have been so proud yet humbled to see all of you honoring him with your kind words, flowers, prayers and words of encouragement and hope to me. Bruce was an awesome husband and he touched everyone with his kind demeanor and servants heart that he acquired only by knowing the Lord on such a deep and genuine way.
Bruce has left our home on earth, but I know he is busy in Heaven reuniting with loved ones that arrived there first. It gives me great peace knowing that we will also be reunited again some day.
I want to also thank the Modesto Police Department officers that worked and knew Bruce. Your memories that you have shared with me are priceless. Karolyn, Tracy, Brenda, Pam...I could not have gotten through this without you.
I miss our morning coffee together and watching our pups play in the back yard. More than anything I miss hearing his "I Love You's" and notes in my car.
The song "Unashamed" play at his service, and that is truly who he was.
Unashamed to be a loyal man of Christ, unashamed to love others the way Jesus tells us to love. Unashamed to laugh at himself and just be goofy and enjoy our life together. I am unashamed to tell the world how much I love you Bruce and always will.
Blessings,
Sharon

My sincere condolences to the Baldwin family at the loss of Bruce. I send my regards to Ron, and I fondly recall Bruce's daughters Rebekah and Brittney from teaching at Hughson High. I valued the friendship of Edgar all those years ago, and remember the entire family with respect. God bless all of the Baldwins at this sad time.

I was a young reserve Hughson Police officer for about two years. I remember Bruce as a very young, tall, skinny, confident young man. He loved being a policeman in his own community. R.I.P.

Bruce was a pleasure to work with in Patterson. Being a rookie at the time, he taught me a lot about the job and how to treat people, which I carried throughout my career. You will be missed my friend, but I´ll see you again.

I want to thank all of those who have reached out to me and my family during this time of heartache as well as those that just showed love to my wonderful husband.
Bruce was a caring and gentle man who was not afraid to show his love to others. I have never heard him say a word out of anger or aggravation. He truly did show everyone what it meant to be a man of God by his actions towards others and by sharing the good news of Jesus to everyone. He absolutely loved being with his family and planning adventures together. I can't begin to write about all the ones he has touched in his life by his kindness, generosity and gentle spirit. Bruce had a servant's heart. He would do whatever he could for whomever needed. Our children and grandchildren had a wonderful example to follow.
I am grieving but I am assured that I will see my sweetheart again soon in Heaven where he awaits for me.

It was a true Blessing to know one of the nicest people I've ever met. I only knew Bruce around 3 yrs. But i feel like i knew him forever. He always was so welcoming when id go laugh it up with Sharon. He never cared that we were talking shop and at times he really didn't understand our medical terms we were using. There were a few times he would cover his ears and just laugh and say i don't want to hear. All in great laughs with us though.I just loved his devoted love for his family and even for me. God rest your sweet sole. Ill miss you for ever and like so many times like he would tell me .. ILL SEE YOU LATER KID !! Your loving friend !! Karolyn

We had the pleasure of knowing Bruce and Sharon buy being neighbors with them. I bought watermelon margaritas one day, and had them come on over to have some with us. It was a fun time we talked about life and work and good times growing up. We drank almost the whole bottle. I ask Bruce if he wanted some more and Sharon said no he has to walk home. And I was like aww then he looks at me and he goes just a little one. So knowing me I gave him some more and Sharon was like no more no more we were laughing. We love them both so much that are such nice people. And We will miss Bruce very much

Bruce and I worked side by side for many years, while employed for the Newman Police Department. We both moved on to larger departments and still remained friends. Bruce was a wonderful guy. Loved God and always put his Family first. I have many fond memories of my late night shifts alongside Bruce. God speed my friend. To his family and friends, My heart is with you all. Evette Andre

Sharon,
Don't think I ever met you but I met Bruce when he worked for Patterson PD. I worked for CHP at the time and we worked a couple of accidents and arrests together. I have a Patterson Irrigator newspaper photo when he found a hit and run driver sleeping in his car after hitting several cars. He called CHP to respond since it was outside of City limits. We were supposed to go flying one day but it didn't happen. My condolences to you and family.
His quiet demeanor and constant smile will be missed.
