Debye Hunter Obituary
Debye was a devoted mother and grandmother whose unwavering love and care for her family were central to her life. Known for her dependability and loyalty, Debye approached every challenge with resilience and purpose. Debye's life was marked by love of family, strength, determination and a tireless work ethic.
She is survived by her two children, Jacquie and Tommy Hunter; her three grandchildren, Aubrey, Ryder, and Kendall; her sisters Karen Lewis (Ken) and Lisa Zazueta (Carlos) and brother Robert Shaw (Renee) and her sister-in-law and dear friend, Deborah Dutton.
Debye is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 45 years and partner of over 50 years, Craig Hunter, who passed away on January 22, 2025. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Jacqueline Steele.
Her legacy of love and dedication will continue to inspire those who knew her best. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that a blood donation be made in her honor.
