EDWARD EUGENE GIPSON APRIL 9, 1928 - DEC. 13, 2006 Edward E. Gipson, a resident of Pioneer, California passed away at Sutter Memorial Hospital in Sacramento.
Ed was retired, prior to retirement he was an electrician with the IBEW. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and cooking, and loved his dogs Fisher and Forrest.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Helen Gipson; daughters, Deborah Gipson; Edy Ann Gipson; and granddaughter, Beth Ann Chapin.
He is survived by his daughters, Cathy McCay of Modesto; Jody Newman of Pioneer, and grand children, Brian McCay of Modesto; Alan Beerbower of Pioneer; Amanda Solsbery of West Point; Josh Martin of Reno; and sister, Irene Brodie of Iowa and four great grand children.Private committal will take place at Amador Memorial Cemetery.
