Felix Batista Obituary

FELIX RENE BATISTA MAR. 31, 1924 - AUG. 6, 2006 Felix Rene Batista was born in Rodas, Cuba. He came to the United States in November of 1966. He stopped briefly in Florida before coming to Redwood City, CA where he lived until he retired from Raychem Corp. in 1989. He then moved to Modesto, CA in 1990. He passed quietly at his home with his wife by his side.

He is survived by his wife, Buenaventura Batista, of 53 years and his children, Sara Batista and Rene Batista and four grandchildren, Erika Parra, Josue Miguel Romo, Jared Rene Batista and Erin Nicole Batista.

A private service was held Aug. 12. The family would like to thank all their friends and family for their support during this difficult time.

Dear Batista Family, I did not have the pleasure of knowing Mr. Batista, but I wish to offer you my condolences, I too am from Cuba and felt a connection with him. Seeing his picture reminded me of my father who is still in Cuba.I am very sorry for your loss.

Mrs. Bautista, Sara and family I truly am saddened to hear of Mr. Bautistas passing. Please accept my hugs and love to you and I want to say also that it was an honor to have known him and to have been able to take care of him when he was at the Hospice house.
