Felix Ulloa Obituary

Felix Ulloa, Jr. beloved husband, father and friend; reunited with The Lord, with whom he had a very loving relationship, on August 15. Felix fought a diligent battle with a brief illness. Born to Feliciano Ulloa, Sr. and Reyes Ulloa-Rodriguez, Felix was one of 10 brothers and 2 sisters. He was a graduate of Oakdale High School, Class of 1951. Felix served proudly in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He and wife Waltraut married and raised three children. Felix worked for Contadina Foods in Riverbank for 38 years and Silgan for 10 years. Upon his retirement he enjoyed quality time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Felix very much enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox and the San Francisco Giants, and he was always willing to share his wealth of baseball knowledge with those interested. Felix is survived by his wife Waltraut; children Lee, Trudy, John (Mitzi), and Rick; grandchildren Alexandria, Rick, Tim, Christopher, Katie, Isaac, Izaiah, and Gabriel; great-grandchildren Tysen and Casen; brothers Jesse, Robert, Arnold, and Eddie. Graveside service Aug. 22, 2014 at 9:30AM Veterans National Cemetery, 32053 W.McCabe Rd. Santa Nella, CA

I would give anything and everything for us to be able to watch a giants game or an episode of jeopardy and three stooges lol. My grandpa was and always be my main man! He taught me tough love and even though he didn't say it much, I've always knew he loved me unexplainably! Him and I shared the same passion for baseball and we both love the game very much. When it came to his giants, nothing else mattered while he had the best seats in the ballpark....the couch! Even though he's gone, I know he's in a better place. With God dancing the jitterbug may he rest in peace with my Lil cousin Peanut and other family members and loved ones that have passed. I love you grandpa! May you now be my guardian angel to watch out over me from up above.....love you grandpa, until we see one another again. God bless you and thank you for everything you taught me and shared advice about.

I will always remember every time I would come to visit my Trudy before I left I'd hear you talking about baseball..I will miss that..but I'm sure you and yo brothers are up there playing now..it's so good to know that heaven is now yo home..much love Pam..

Really sad to hear this. At one time when we were both young and single we did everything together. We were like brothers. What a great guy. Always with a smile. What a fun guy to hang with. Many great memories we had. Rest in peace my brother. I live out of state and cannot be there or I would be.

Trudy...Chris...and family. I didn't know your father Trudy but saw the love and respect you had for your father. My father met Felix at Dialysis only a short time ago, but made a connection that made their treatment somewhat bearable even enjoyable. The two could reminisce with acute details about events all the way back to their high school sport days.Felix was the most positive and enjoyable thing to happen to my father in years. Also dad always spoke about Wally being the kindest woman he has ever seen.Felix's pasting has brought my father and I so much closer and for that we thank the Ulloa family.We pray for strenght to help you thru these difficult times.
