JANET TOWNLEY MACHADO JUNE 4, 1928 - JUNE 25, 2009 Loving Wife, Mother Grandmother, Great-Grandmother Janet was born in Alabama. She was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Frank Machado. Janet left us peacefully after a brief illness. Janet was a loyal employee of Hershey's in Oakdale for 30 years. She had lived in the area for 50 years. Janet enjoyed caring for her home and loved working in her yard. She also enjoyed making family meals on special occasions for her extended family, and was very sad to hear Gottschalks was closing it's doors. She will be missed by many, as she had touched the lives of everyone she met. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mark Stanley, both of Modesto; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Ranell Machado, both of Klamath Falls, OR; sisters, Hazel Cally of NY, Challi Busby of MS; her companion, Don Keough; many grand- children, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be held at Oakdale Memorial Chapel on Thursday, July 2nd from 4pm-8pm with a Rosary at 6pm.Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 3rd at 10am at Citizens Cemetery 701 East J St. Oakdale.
