Jeff Hansen Obituary

Turlock, California - Jeff L Hansen passed away unexpectedly November 13, 2024 at 54 years of age. He was born at the Escalon Hospital and grew up in Modesto, graduating from Downey High School and attended Modesto Junior College. Jeff and Lisa were married 24 years, living the first 10 years in Escalon and the next 14 years in Turlock. They were in their 25th year of operating their pest control business. Jeff was a born salesman, very successful because he was self-motivated, driven to keep learning and giving his best to his customers. When Jeff wasn't working he was golfing, or talking about the round he just finished. Jeff never knew a stranger and had friends everywhere he went.
Jeff is survived by his wife Lisa, his mother Lynn Hansen (Richard Anderson) and his brother Dan Glenn (Kerrie.) He is predeceased by his father Darryl Hansen (Pat.).
We sincerely thank the Fire and EMT crews, Emanuel Medical Center ER and Pulmonary departments for their greatest care, skill, and compassion. They did all they could for Jeff and we are most grateful. We also thank Deegan Funeral Chapel, Escalon for their kindness and care. A memorial service is planned for December 18, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Escalon Christian Reformed Church, 2203 California Street, Escalon with luncheon to follow. Remembrances of Jeff may be made to T2T.org.

Jeff and I became brothers when our parents married. Jeff immediately went out of his way to bond with me, a young and stubborn teenager.
I will forever appreciate his generosity in sharing his own father, Darryl with me, who became an amazing and loving father figure to me over many years.
I spent my teenage years trying to figure Jeff out, I couldn´t, he was a one-of-a-kind, always well-intended to a fault, often misunderstood, and the most loyal friend as one could hope for.
I have many stories with Jeff that I reflect upon with laughter as they become more amusing the older I become. I wish I had the time and space to share them here.
Jeff introduced me to car stereo systems, different types of music, paintball guns, roller blades, and eventually all I could ever want to know (and then some) about pest control.
Later, Jeff and his lovely wife Lisa would be there for me and my family during a very difficult time - something that I´ll never forget.
I´m thankful that he called me his brother and will forever remember the times we shared together.

I just don't know what to say..Jeff and I spent alot if time cruising in his Jetta listing to Rush...has epic paintball games at his place...you will be missed my brother...say hi to my wife. Rip

Lynn, John and I remember Jeff from First Baptist Church ( now CrossPoint). He was interested in so many things and he was so outgoing. Our prayers are with you and all Jeff's family.
