I miss your laugh and your smile. I still hope to see you when I go to the church. But I know that you are always with me in spirit and that is a beautiful thing! Our Dearest Joe Ed
I am so very sorry for not having signed before this, however its been so hard to find the words I would like to say that would be most meaningful. We talk of you so often and Mike talks of the things you had done together. He has said when you were still present that he wished he could have done even half of the things in his life as you had done for the LORD. As for me I miss your smile and that little twinkle in your eye, and the little dance or soft shoe you did when you were so over-come with glee hence;the little soft shoe. I have always wished we could have spent more time together over dinner or just visiting with you and Thelma but you were always busy with the Lords business and we were so often too far away to spend more time. Joe Ed you are so very much missed. I know that the reward you earned here on this ole planet is over, but there in your heavenly home it is just beginning. I know you are so happy to be again re-united with your family that have gone on before you, but the greatest is being with Jesus and in the presence of our God. I know you talk to our FATHER directly now about your family and friends left behind, and we thank you. We will some day be there with you and look forward to rejoicing in what our LORD Jesus has done for all of us, but for now we miss you and remember. God richly Bless you Joe Ed Lovingly your Sis as you so often called me See I remembered... Thank you God for Joe Ed and his love. Carol

Happy Fathers Day. We raised two beautiful children. Both college graduates. Really wonderful kids. No drugs, smoking or drinking alcohol. Joey and Chantelle have been married 31 years. Cheryl is staying with me as a caregiver. She is so great. We do have our grand dogs, Loki and Darcy. Cheryl cares for them really well. Just to let you know that you were a good Dad.

I have been trying to put a Happy Anniversay message to you since June 5 , 2018. We were married at the First Missionary Baptist Church in Riverbank,California on June 5, 1964. We were the first couple to get married in the new sanctuary. We were so happy. There was standing room only. How I miss you. I need one of your hugs. We would have been married 54 years Hope to see you soon, I'm ready. Love, Thelma

Happy Birthday Joe. You would have been 77 today. We would have gone out to dinner. There would be German Chocolate cake, your favorite. We would have presents. How you liked to open up presents. I would take a cake to church Sunday night for the church family to celebrate too. I miss you so, so much. One of your hugs would be great now. Love, Thelma

Pastor Joe will be missed in Stanislavsky county I know. After talking with Thelma today I know that he would not have been happy living like this and we can all rejoice and be assured that the moment he closed his eyes over here he awoke in the presence of Almighty God . Loved he and Thelma and the entire church family and will be praying for y'all in the coming time of sorrow.
