Johnny Diaz Palacio, 69, peacefully went home to the Lord on October 14, 2016.
John was born on April 1st, 1947 in Fresno, CA. He grew up in the city of Tulare, CA, then at the age of 12 moved to Turlock.
He was preceded in death by his loving son, Johnny Palacio, his mother Carmen Diaz and two sisters, Betty Diaz and Helen Palacio. John's memory will live on through his beloved family, sons George and Adrian Palacio and daughter Carmen Palacio-Fuentes. His grandchildren, Laura Palacio, Stefan Palacio, Payton Palacio, Jazzmine Palacio, Christian Palacio and three great-grandsons, Nicolas, Scotty and Tyler Palacio. He is also survived by two twin sisters, Connie Alvarado and Bonnie Rodriquez and younger brother David Renteria.
John was the oldest of all his extended family of many cousins, nephews and nieces, all who have so many memories and stories they could share about their cousin and Uncle Johnny.
His favorite pastime was watching boxing and old movies. He also enjoyed sharing his testimony of how he came to Christ, with anyone he would meet, and anyone that would listen.
He loved his family so much and was very proud of all of them. He will be greatly missed.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 20, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, CA. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Fri., Oct. 21 at the same location. Interment will follow.

My thoughts and prayers are with you iat this terrible time.Johnny was a very careing man and a wonderful friend,I only knew him for a very short time .we would sit and talk for hours about things that happened in his past,but one thing was forsure he knew he was going to heaven.He tought me alot about god,and he will be missed .god bless all of you.sincerly a friend
