Joseph DeWees Obituary
Joe was a product of the Modesto City Schools where he graduated from Modesto High School. He proudly served in the Navy during WWII as a radioman in the Philippines.
Joe was employed by Modesto City Schools for 32 years. His positions ranged from elementary teacher all the way up to central office administrator where he retired on December 30th, 1985.
Over his lifetime, he received many awards and honors he was very proud of. He highly enjoyed being a member of the McHenry Lions Club.
Joe would like to thank everyone he worked with over his 32 year career.
Burial for Joe and his wife, Gertrude will be buried at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, CA.
