Turlock, California - Joyce Cyphers, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away on October 18, 2023, in her home in Turlock at the age of 80
Joyce was born into Escalon, CA to Mother Eleanor Loureiro & Father George Bailie
She married her childhood sweetheart Dan Kilroy in 1960 and they had four children. Kelly, David, Cindy and Michael.
She enjoyed her years of employment with JFK School from 1973-2001 as an Instructional Assistant & Kitchen Manager. She truly loved her students and co-workers.
She loved to shop and find antiques with many friends over the years.
Joyce spent her later years with husband Dennis Cyphers they married Aug 1989 Stepdaughter Melissa and two step granddaughters.
Joyce is survived by her Son David, Daughters Kelly (Mike), Cindy (Greg, Deceased) 5 Grandchildren & 13 Great grandchildren whom all loved her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her son Michael A Kilroy, Mother Eleanor Somerville and Father George Bailie, Son In-Law John Gregory Largent.
There will be no services at this time.

So sad to hear about Joyce's passing. We shared many crazy, fun and special times so many years ago. The kind of memories that time can't erase. She and I went to San Francisco on a whim and with her encouragement (insistence?) I bought an antique hall tree. It is a great reminder of a loyal, sweet and loving friend. (I still have the hall tree!!) Joyce was so comfortable to be with; she was an empathetic listener who always had honest advice. So lucky to have known her. Aloha Joyce.
