Juan Carlos Rancaño, 54, entered into rest on August 22, 2015. He was born on January 21, 1961 in Cuba. He is preceded in death by his father, David Rancaño Sr., whom passed away in December of last year. Juan Carlos leaves behind his loving wife of 23 years, Leslie Rancaño, his beloved mother, Tina Rancaño, his beautiful children, Daniel and Christina Rancaño, and his siblings Ernie, David and Rita Rancaño. Juan Carlos was truly a kind, selfless and very respected man. He was an attorney at his own private practice "Rancaño Rancaño" for about 28 years, never judging a single person that came to him for help. He treated his fieldworkers with the same dignity and respect he gave judges. He also earned his master's degree in business administration and in Spanish literature. Juan Carlos was a wonderful role model to his clients, his friends, his family, and especially his two children. He was very well-known for his good looks, but was even more beautiful of a person on the inside. Juan Carlos will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed. Franklin & Downs Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Rancaño Family. A Rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 1st at 6:30 P.M. at Franklin & Downs Funeral Home, 1050 McHenry Avenue in Modesto. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, September 2nd at 10am at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 709 J Street in Modesto, followed by a Graveside Service at Burwood Cemetery, 28320 East River Road in Escalon.
