Laura Flory Obituary

Laura Belle Flory was born on November 5, 1944 in Modesto, CA. She is the daughter of Charles and Mary (Holsinger) Flory of Salida, CA. Laura went to her Heavenly home unexpectedly, Friday, August 7, 2015. She loved life and lived her years on the Flory Family Homestead in Salida. Laura attended Salida Elementary School and Modesto High School. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of 15 years, followed by Christian baptism.
Laura was preceded in death by her father and mother. She is survived by her Uncle Howard and wife Lois.
She will be greatly missed by her many cousins, church family and friends. We loved her smile, hugs, her strong faith and love for her Lord Jesus. Laura's earthly journey is over. May God receive all praise and glory for her life lived for Him.
Visitation will be Sat., August 15, between 5-8pm. Funeral Service will be held Sun., August 16, 2:30pm. Both will be held at the Modesto German Baptist, New Conference Church on Rumble Rd. Graveside service follows on Dakota Ave., Wood Colony Cemetery. All are welcome!
Remembrances may be made to Brethren Heritage School or Modesto Gospel Mission.
