Lauren, I had this funny, quirky little pug who was boarding last week and he made me think about you and your herd of defective pugs and how much you loved them. I´m so sorry that we didn´t see how much trouble you were in. You left us way too soon.

Lauren you will forever be missed. Not a Saturday goes by I don't think of you and our road trips to the north and back. I wish I could have been more direct with you about moving to Fresno and helped change your mind. I will miss your feisty forward way of expressing your opinions. ER isn't the same without you. Dedicating broken halos song by Chris Stapleton to you♥♥♥ You are a good friend... Miss you

Dr. Sampson,
I still think of you daily. I missed you the moment I left the ER and you hugged me, I cried. You were such a brilliant, funny, witty, animal lover. You were and to this day, my favorite veterinarian to work with. Please know how much you're loved and deeply missed.

Lauren,
When we first met at SVESC we got off to a bumpy start but even though we didn't hit it off at first you always took the time to show me something if I didn't know exactly what you wanted. Later on were both able to appreciate each others differences and quirks and we would have hours long conversations in the middle of the night. You were one of the smartest people I've ever met,and feisty, sometimes bossy, always helpful and at times a little naive about people and the world. I will miss your beautiful smile and your little girl giggle. I probably never told you how much I appreciated you helping Adam when started working in the ER with you. You were a good friend to him and I know he misses you terribly. I'm so sorry your gone, you've left this world way too soon. I hope your at peace now. You were much loved and are deeply missed.

Lauren, you were such an amazing friend to me and I miss you so much. We only knew each other for a few short years but they were packed with so many great memories that I am so thankful for. When I met you, I had just started working at SVESC in Stockton. It wasn't until I started working in the ER department a year later that I really got to know you. I had never worked a day as a technician before and I was scared and overwhelmed and had thoughts that I wouldn't be able to do this but I ended up alright because I had you as my mentor. You had no problem taking me under your wing. Thank you so much. Something I cherished more, however, was the friendship we had. You were so smart. We had the best conversations and since we both liked to rant, they went on for hours. I miss that, so much. I miss your passion you had for what you did. I miss your fiery, quick attitude and sense of humor. You were always there for me and I just miss you. I'll never forget you and I'll always be grateful to have even known you. You're missed by so many. Love you Lauren.

Lauren, I miss you so much. It has been such an honor to have known and worked for you. You were available at all hours to always help out. I am grateful that you let me brain storm on personal cases that had hit a stall with modern medicine. Lauren, I was amazed at how hard you worked and your committed passion for the pets' well being. Thank you for including me in your life. You will not ever be forgotten.

I only new her for a short time as her ranch hand and took care of magic during her final days and came to visit afterward we I had time. I learned a lot from her in the short time I was there and her way of taking care of horses was a great learning experience for me. She loved all her animals I wish I knew where they ended up and could home a couple. She left earth to early and I hope she is happy in heaven with magic.

So many memories in such a short time. I met you before I worked with you. You diagnosed my girl, Domino, with cutaneous Hemangiosarcoma while you were working at HOPE. A few months later we were coworkers, forever bonded in purple. You did so many amazing things for me, with Domino's cancer. Doing surgeries, helping with meds, not sugar coating anything. Most importantly, you gave me just time. Time with her. Even if it was only an extra month or two, it mattered. Thank you doesn't even begin to express the amount of gratitude I have always felt for all that you did. I hope you knew how much it meant. You will be very missed. Doctors like you are few and far between. That rare combo of skill, intelligence, compassion, drive, humility, and humor are hard to come by and seldom genuine. Thank you for being a person who laughed and played and did Cartman impressions and posted grumpy cat memes and dressed your pugs in ridiculous outfits and poked fun at us and yourself and everyone! You were a bright spark in a dark room. I will miss your light, but I will never forget your laughter. Especially your little Cartman "Hehehe..." ♥

I graduated from college and Taylor Vet was my first job right out of college. When I first met Lauren she took me under her wing, told me to call her Lauren, not Dr. Sampson, and she made me into an amazing vet tech! She also turned into an amazing friend. She was a very strong woman and knew exactly what she wanted. I am so very heart broken that Lauren has been taken from us far too soon. She was an absolute my beautiful woman. You be will be missed.

Dr. Sampson saved our dog at Taylor about 10 years ago. We were certain we would lose the dog but she pulled through, thanks to Dr. Sampson's dedication. She was thorough and compassionate and while we only had a few interactions with her, her professionalism has not been forgotten. Her knowledge about animals and her heart for pet owners was remarkable. I am very sorry to hear of her passing.
