Lavonne Gaudreau-Xavier Obituary

LAVONNE MARGUERITE GAUDREAU-XAVIER OCT 30, 1939 - SEP 30, 2010 LaVonne Gaudreau Xavier passed away on Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, after a short battle with cancer. LaVonne was born October 30, 1939 in stockton, CA. to larry and Winona Gaudreau. As a young child the family moved to Escalon, where LaVonne lived until a few years ago. She graduated fron Escalon High in 1957. She married that summer to Joe Xavier, together they had four sons. LaVonne was a medical transcriber for many years, owning her own business until her semi-retirement several years ago. LaVonne loved to sew, knit, crochet, creating many beautiful giftsfor her family and friends over the years. Preceded in death by her son, Edward Xavier; parents and step-father Wayne Orton. LaVonne is survived by her sons, Stanley (Debbie) Xavier; Danny (Ramona) Xavier all of Oakdale; Michael (Lisa) Xavier of Manteca; daughter-in-law JoEllen Xavier of Ripon; grandchildren Travis (Skyler) Xavier; Taylor Xavier; Christy and Alex Xavier; Rachel and Jacob Xavier; sister, Lorretta (Ted) Guazzini Fallon, NV.; brother, Larry Gaudreau, Texas; sister Beverly (Mike) Ries of Stockton; step-mother Alta Gaudreau of Oakdale; many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Escalon. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Deegan's Funeral Chapel. www.modbee.com/obituaries
