I have known Lee from his early Probation Officer career. I was a Prosecutor and had occasional official business with him. However, early on, he invited me to the Odd Fellows monthly breakfast and I enjoyed our many times thereafter when our family and friends were regular attendees. It was a highlight when The Emporer was present. He was present when my granddaughter, Eva Varni, won a Pumpkin Roll in her age group. He was Mr. Knights Ferry to me! May he Rest In Peace.
