Leroy Wright Obituary

LEROY WRIGHT MAY 16, 1924 - MAR. 19, 2007 Born in Dyer, AR, May 16,1924. Passed away on March 19, 2007 at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Wright of Turlock; son Larry Wright, daughter, Karen Enos; son, Alvin Wright of Los Angeles, 3 stepchildren: John Gwinner of Modesto, Ruth Gwinner of Turlock, Mark Gwinner of Fremont; and 4 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, George L. Wright and mother, Docie Wright.

LeRoy served in the Army, 11th Airborne Division. He was a Paratrooper. He worked at the Turlock Pcst Office for 33 years and 5 months. He loved fishing and football.

LeRoy attended the Fellowship Bible Chapel in Turlock.

Donations may be made to Fellowship Bible Chapel, 501 Canal Drive, Turlock, CA 95380 or to a favorite charity.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 22, 2007 from 1:00 PM-8:00 PM at Allen Mortuary . Graveside service will be held on Friday, March 23 at 1:00 PM at Turlock Memorial Park.

I want to express my sympathy in the passing of your step-dad, John. When reading the obituary notice, I realized that my Dad, Rodney Larson, worked with your step-dad many years in the Turlock Post Office. I remember him speaking of him often. My dad died in 1996.
