Modesto, California - On April 13, 1948, Linda Darlene Rose, was born to Arthur and Mary Rose in Oakdale, California. At a very early age, Linda tells the story of sitting on her trike while sewing and watching them build McHenry Village. A few years later she attended Washington Elementary, then Mark Twain Jr High, and finally Modesto High. While at Modesto, she was the "B" basketball queen, and the First Attendant To the Queen her junior and senior years. She also loved Dance, and participated in dance productions during her years at Modesto High.

Linda was a very talented individual. During her life she was the secretary for the Modesto Medical Society of Modesto, owned a Mercedes repair business in Washington, and was the manager of the phlebotomy lab at Gould Medical while taking care of her Mom for ten years. Linda was also a quilter and a seamstress. She left many quilts behind, and sowed many of her clothes since her time in high school. Linda loved her family fiercely. She was very creative, loving, and enjoyed her many friends.

Linda leaves her husband, James Bolt; her sons Justin Serna and Adam (Rachelle) Serna; her step-sons Robert (Camille) Bolt, and Clint (Erin) Young; her step-daughter Leann(Steve) Marcano-Johnson; and nephews/nieces, Rusty (Sarah) Rose and Colleen (Jose ) Chavira. She is also survived by her sister Norma (Jim) Agan, sister-in-laws Dani Bolt and Claudia (Peter) Curtis, and 7 grandchildren, Scottlyn Serna, Kyleigh Gustafson, Harper, Nolan and Holden Bolt, and Frankie and Lucca Marcano-Johnson. Linda outlived her parents and her brother, Leon. The father of her children, Cliff Serna died in a car crash in 1984.
