LYNETTE MEAD JULY 20, 1925 - NOV. 10, 2006 Lynette Mead was born in Rosebud, Texas on July 20, 1925 and peace fully went Home to be with the Lord at the age of 81 on Friday, November 10, 2006.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda, and son-in-law, Robert Woods of Ceres, CA; a sister, Joy Brown of Modesto, CA; a brother-in-law, Russell Mead of Las Vegas, NV and 14 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Roy Mead.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in San Pedro, CA for 36 years under the leadership of Pastor Ralph Salzman. She retired in 1980 from Sears in Carson, CA after working more than 20 years in the receiving department. She and her husband Roy then moved to New Cuyama, CA where she was a member of the Cuyama Assembly of God Church for 7 years under the leadership of Pastor Sam White. In 1987 they moved to Ceres, CA and she was a member of Richland Faith Assembly of God Church for 19 years under the leadership of Pastor Herb Henry.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm on Thursday, November 16, 2006 at Lakewood Funeral Chapel. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006 at Richland Faith Assembly of God Church at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, CA.
